Ok, look away, I am about to be all American and effusive.So, this is a superb exercise in dark irony. I love the nudgefrom you to all of us who are “numb” and “scrolling.” What adirect pointing experience. Also, the participial phrase scores big time!!! And the wondrous “scythe” and the”dance” of death that the living might do if and onlyif they were not being watched. And the reader, ifthey are truly in the moment, reflects on the title for the knock-out punch. Well done!!!
